He got the sense of that and hummed, accepting. He couldn't fault her for not wanting to have to deal with the roll of memory and emotion that surrounded the last few weeks -- hell, if he had the strength for it, he might have considered doing the same. As it was, though, he was stuck with it all bouncing around in his head, and he'd have to deal with it at some point, likely if and when he woke in the middle of the night, or after he had some untainted blood in his system, the latter of which seemed vaguely worse, somehow.
For now, at least, he had his weakness to hide behind, and it didn't take long for it to claim him, blissful unconsciousness closing around him after a moment or two more.
