"It's alright," he murmured, as if he could sense her need to reassure him just as well as she could feel his lingering nerves. To what he felt was his credit, though, his own uneasiness was fading now that Sarah was here and he had something to do. He still had a few worries, mainly centered around what would happen when she went into proper labor, but he was at least making progress, and they weren't distracting enough to keep him from starting the stopwatch when that next contraction hit.
